Per condition pet insurance is a more selective type of pet insurance cover whereby an insurer will set a limit against the maximum amount that can be paid out for each condition but will not set a time limit for how long the condition will be covered from the date of first treatment.

This means that you can continue to claim for a condition for as long as it takes to reach the maximum claim limit provided of course that you renew your policy if you end up claiming into the following year.

While it is unsuitable for the on-going treatment of long-term illnesses, per condition pet insurance provides a more than adequate level of cover for protecting your pet against life’s mishaps.

And unlike annual pet insurance, where you can only claim for a condition suffered by your pet for upto 12 months from the onset of that condition, there is no time limit constraint.
